It’s been said that gold, silver and other precious metals are the only real money. The rest is debt. I believe that the only financial salvation from the debt tyranny imposed by the idiots in Washington DC and on Wall Street is to own precious metals in physical form.
A great way is to simply buy gold and silver coins. However, the prices of these metals are very much controlled by the same cartel of "banksters." Who knows to what extent their "naked shorting" and other market manipulation antics will do to destroy the perception of value that precious metals might have as they desperately seek to keep their fraudulent financial system based on fiat currencies from falling apart.
As a hedge against price volatility caused by such market manipulation of the "digital" and "paper" metal prices, it’s always advisable to "buy low" so you can position yourself ultimately to "sell high." With hind-sight, as we will ultimately see the current metal prices soar, we will only be able to wish to turn back the clock and buy gold and silver at prior lower prices, but that’s not realistic. Neither is buying mining stocks that offer a discount to the current prices the same as owning the physical metals. Many of those shares are also manipulated and their production may need to be financed by debt.
As the future potential "perfect storm" of financial destruction rages out of control, one needs a safe place to store wealth. Owning physical metals is the ultimate refuge from the vicissitudes of the market. And much like having a storm cellar deep under ground to survive a tornado, having physical possession of precious metals acquired at a deep discount from current spot prices can provide similar safety.
